Specifically...this is how

We've had several folks ask how they can be praying specifically for our adoption so here we go! Seeing God work a miracle with immigration and my fingerprints just shows Gods hand in this adoption and his heart to "place orphans in families". It also shows the power of prayer and we will need prayer in abundance as we continue this process!

1. We still have several more steps to get through. Once our Dossier hits China, please pray it falls into the right hands to get it processed through quickly. The longest step is typically waiting on our referral so pray God would speed that through...

2. No one likes to discuss money but let me be completely candid and transparent...we need $$! The total cost of this adoption start to finish will be about $50,000. God has provided amazingly up to this point but we've recently learned that bringing two home will be a bit more expensive than we originally thought......just to break it down...we need about $15000 more in country. This covers our orphanage donation of 7000 plus in country airfare, hotel stays, meals and province/country adoption fees. We also need airfare to and from China...putting this need out there in case anyone has airline miles they would never use or any other creative way to get there and back(aside from the slow boat!). Depending on how God provides, we would love to take our older kids so that they can begin that relationship with Eli and Zoe from the get go. The cost for 4 round trip tickets plus 2 one way tickets could range anywhere from 6-10,000$. Please be in prayer for these very specific financial needs. I don't believe God calls everyone to adopt but do believe He calls us all to do something! Would you pray about joining our journey to bring these children home?

3. Please be in prayer for Eli and Zoe...that God would preparing our hearts for them and their's for us. Since Eli is 13 and Zoe is 6, we realize we will have some hurdles to overcome...my heart already hurts for Eli having to leave everything he has ever known....please be in prayer for them!

4. Lastly...this request is a bit goofy but of concern to me...we need a vehicle large enough to haul our whole tribe! We have learned that you can put a third row in a suburban so that is a definite option but our suburban has lots of miles and is starting to have some issues so we really need either a newer one or a 12 passenger van:). We don't want to take on additional debt since we know there will be lots of expenses with 7 kids and several special needs kids in the mix! Please pray that somehow/somewhere God would provide for this need.
